Becoming a Wedding Photographer: 2014 A Year in Review
I can’t believe 2014 is over. 2014 was our first full year in business and what a year it has been! This year has been a total whirlwind having photographed almost 30 weddings this year. We witnessed some truly beautiful weddings and some super fun ones too!
We absolutely treasure each one of our clients as it gives us the opportunity to continue to do what we love to do best. And that is to capture people’s love stories in the most beautiful way possible and show them to the world. We love that we can make a difference in peoples’ lives. Photographs mean a lot to us and our family. It is when we connect ourselves to the memories we had and the people that we love. Wedding photography are not just photos to us but a family heritage. We love that we can create a treasured keepsake that can be cherished for generations.
In 2014, we photographed weddings from different cultures and traditions and photographed weddings in all sorts of venues. We drove to Niagara and Muskoka and we had so much fun. Next year we’ll be going international as we’ll be photographing weddings south of the border in the U.S and also real down south – in the down under, Australia! This is an absolute dream of mine to be able to photograph couples from my home country and spend more time with my family.. Travelling is huge for us. This year, we travelled to Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Portugal and then back to Japan again! We love experiencing the world. So yes, we do international weddings!
Although 2014 has been a busy year of business for us, it hasn’t been all of that. 2014 has been a momentous year as it was the year we got engaged. It was the year we determined that we would spend the rest of our lives together. The best about 2014 is that we have learnt so much about love and marriage from every single one of our clients.
We feel truly blessed to be taking on this journey with all of you. We are so excited about 2015 because we are so completely in love with what we do for you.
Happy New Year everybody! Bring on 2015!
