Laura and Jim met through mutual friends and have known each other for many years. They love being outdoors together, sitting on the cottage enjoying dinner while watching the sun set around a campfire. I love the way that they describe how much they mean to each other – that they are each other’s everything. For their engagement session, Laura wanted a setting in a field surrounded by wildflowers. Although it was technically actually fall in Toronto, most of the fields that I knew were already mowed and cut down but we found a patch where the sun set behind it. It was… View full post »
I love how these Pickering City Hall wedding photos turned out! This week I had the pleasure in photographing Alisha and Justin’s wedding at Pickering City Hall. We got a few photos in the park after their ceremony and some of the colours are already changing. Such a pretty time of year to be getting married! A huge congratulations to Alisha and Justin in tying the knot! Wedding Photographer: Samantha Ong Photography
Chris was a member at his church for five years until he met Sunny for the first time when they happened to in the same small group together. Although Sunny was a new member, she was very open in sharing stories of her life which intrigued Chris and wanted to know more. Chris worked up the courage to ask her out to dinner and found out how easy it was to talk to each other and that they had so many common interests. From then on, they continued to see each other at church every Sunday. But it was only… View full post »
Today’s Bride has published our photos from Leyna & Craig’s beautiful wedding at The Lakehouse in Pickering! We frequently read Today’s Bride so we’re incredibly excited to see this feature! Having a Lake House wedding is so lovely because the sun sets right on the lake and it is so beautiful. Because there was so much light coming in at the Lake House it made for such an airy feel. Leyna and Craig had a Catholic church ceremony along with the Filipino wedding traditions. A lot of Leyna and Craig’s wedding decor were actually hand made by the family and friends… View full post »
So excited to share that Bride Canada has graciously featured Leyna & Craig’s beautiful wedding at The Lake House in Pickering today!
They met 10 years ago, after Takako handed her resume to Jerriet at a local bubble-tea shop. As they worked together, they became good friends and it turned into something more. They’ve now been together for over 8 years!! They enjoy doing the most simplest of things together – having meals together, watching movies together, and most of all playing with their son! I love how intimate they are with one another and simply carefree and fun loving. You can just tell that they are there for each other and will do anything for the other person. Whilst Takako is a… View full post »
If you follow this blog, you’ll know how much I adore Leyna & Craig ever since my engagement shoot with them. They are the sweetest people and I was so honoured to be the special person to shoot their wedding. What makes their wedding day incredibly unique is that Leyna & Craig spent many of their weekends prior to their wedding making DIY items for their big day. From their invitations, to the bouquets – everything was handmade with love and just so beautiful. What was especially beautiful was Leyna’s bridal dress – look at these lace details! Leyna & Craig… View full post »
They met at church. Only seeing each other in passing every now and then but quickly became friends after their parents had introduced them. Their affection for one another grew over enjoyable nights of Korean BBQ and bubble tea/desserts. Craig decided he would propose to Leyna one weekend on a trip to Toronto Island. Leyna quickly realized what Craig was up to as he grew nervous and was scouting for the perfect location to pop the question. He eventually found a quiet location on the beach, and of course – Leyna said yes! Craig and Leyna are now incredibly busy… View full post »
