Wedding Photography Tips: The Rings
This is of Part 2 of Wedding Photography Tips for “Bridal Preparation/Getting Ready” part of your wedding day. We have already posted our tips on how to get the best photos of your wedding dress. Here are some more tips in helping us get the best photos for your wedding photography. Today’s post, we talk about rings!
Your engagement ring and wedding bands are one of the most important items of the day and we love photographing it!
Complementing your wedding rings with important details on your wedding day such as your veil or part of your dress is a lovely way to make your photo of your wedding and engagement ring special to you.
We also love to get creative with your wedding and engagement ring picture. The more time we have the more creative we can get!
Although your wedding bands have been kept in a box for safekeeping, you’ve probably been wearing your engagement ring for sometime. A great tip is to get your engagement cleaned a few days before the big day. That way it will look the most sparkly when we photograph it!
Before we arrive in the morning to photograph the preparations, decide which party will be responsible for having the all the rings (including the engagement ring). That way we can photograph all 3 together.
Some have chosen a special piece to photograph their wedding ring to give it a unique touch! We love ideas like this! Here Bride Nickey who got married at The Granite Brewery in Toronto had a cute little jar for us to photograph her rose gold engagement ring and wedding band which gave it such character.
Bride Lisa-Marie who got married in Burlington, Ontario, had a gorgeous Turkish ring box to protect their beautiful rings.
