Allison & Jason met two years ago and had their first date at Coffee Culture. Although Jason is a doctor and was technically on-call that evening, they had an immediate chemistry and even the interruptions could not derail their interest in each other!
Allison and Jason planned their whole wedding within a year of their engagement. With a colour scheme of plum purple, white and silver, they had a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony in front of the lovely gazebo at Ascott Parc, as well as a Chinese tea ceremony.
Allison is a school teacher and is quite the crafter! She made so many cute elements for her wedding day, including a purple crochet parasol (crochet is one of her favourite hobbies!), DIY lettered lights, personalised hangers for her bridesmaids and her mother, and even personalised PJs for all of them too!
Jason on the other hand is actually the first set of twin boys (out of 2) in their family. His brothers were all his groomsmen that day and they all looked so dapper in matching suits. Although they all very much looked alike being twins, they all wore a different type of Marvel comic cufflink.
Allison was given her mother’s engagement ring to wear on the day and during their Chinese tea ceremony, Jason’s mother gifted her a set of 24K gold Chinese bracelet that was actually given to her on her wedding day. So special!
But my ultimate favourite moment was Jason’s reaction when he first saw Allison in her wedding dress. His “wow” reaction was too priceless! He just looked so speechless. When I asked them how they felt at the end of the day, he just said to me “very happy” and you could see that happiness plastered over both of their faces all day long!
