Kimberly and Blaise not only met, live and got engaged downtown – but they’re also getting married downtown! In fact their first date included dinner at the Hot House and drinks and music at the Cameron House – all in the St Lawrence Market area.
Kimberly loves to frequent St Lawrence Market to buy pasta. In doing so, they often walk past the spot that Blaise first saw Kimberly in a cafe window at Church and Wellington. Whenever they would go, he would make a comment. But one day, on their usual walks to get some pasta Blaise pretended to have a rock in his shoe at this very same spot. As he was got down on one bended knee, he pulled out a much prettier sparklier rock and proposed to Kimberly right there and then!
Because of their deep history in the St Lawrence Market area, we figured it only made sense to go to the same area for their engagement session. Kimberly is a bubbly law clerk and Blaise is an elementary school teacher. They are a perfect match enjoying food and live music together. They also love to go to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) together and exploring the city on history walks. For their engagement session, we not only photographed in the St Lawrence Market area but also made our way up to beautiful Yorkville and of course – the ROM! I am so looking forward to their wedding day at La Maquette, a lovely restaurant in the St Lawrence area of Toronto!
