With this photoshoot, we wanted to capture the full gamut of Gloria at Historia Wedding & Events artistic concept for a contemporary colorful wedding. She created a shoot that was filled with love and passion for fun and elegance at Enoch Turner Schoolhouse . Pulling the pop out of the beautiful pastel pallet would take attention to detail and an abundance of planning, but that’s what we, as an award-winning Toronto wedding photographer loves to do!
Finding the perfect shots to capture all the artistic details of a beautiful wedding editorial and the talents of each creative vendor was our sole purpose of this styled shoot. As we do in every photo shoot, we must pay attention to detail so that everything looks perfect. Considering that Weddingbells picked up the feature, we think that everyone was pleased with the result!
Gloria had the amazing idea to have aerialists from Articus Productions as our model bride and groom for this shoot. For the close shots of the couple (which were a genuine real-life couple, by the way!), we photographed them amongst the playful backdrop of the big blue and yellow balloons. The colourful soft background of the balloons really allows us to draws the eyes into the beauty of their real love. Working with all the vendors is always really critical, but our models were not experienced, we provided a few professional tips as a Toronto wedding photographer to make sure we could really convey joy and happiness without having to use words.
We so loved photographing at the historic Enoch Turner Schoolhouse in downtown Toronto. We had even more fun with the aerial theme, especially taking lots of incredible shots of the acrobatic bride floating perfectly centered above a floor space. It really evoked a sense of imagery like she was descending from the clouds and presenting herself as a greatly desired gift. We consider ourselves to be a romantic and whimsical wedding photographer, so we really enjoyed delicately styling and photographing the shots of the table shots. For all the photos, we aimed to achieve the perfect balance of warmth and whimsy. Finally, we emphasized the sense of elegant simplicity.
