On Samantha and Richard’s first date, they headed to Niagara. When the server at Peller Estates asked them whether they would like to have some wine, Richard’s response was “it’s always noon somewhere”. It was the line that got Samantha and they now love to regularly take trips to Niagara together.
We arrived early in the morning to capture their Chinese tea ceremony at Samantha’s home. Unfortunately this October day was a chilly and a little wet, so they opted to have their wedding ceremony indoors in the Courtyard Ballroom rather than outside. But we were lucky to have captured so many bride and groom portraits of Samantha and Richard on the grounds of Estates of Sunnybrook. We were even able to capture some fall colours in the forest! Even though it was cold, Vaughan Estate has so many beautiful locations to photograph indoors. We had so much time allocated for Samantha and Richard’s photos – it made it so easy to get all the photos they wanted and in and around the venue!
They wanted to keep their wedding simple and romantic with soft and timeless colours of white, ivory and pink. Samantha and Richard opted for low centrepieces which were beautifully created by Secrets Floral in their wedding colours and splashes of green. Sarah delivered yet another personal and beautiful ceremony. Their wedding reception was so heartfelt. I’m sure the guests felt the same as I when Samantha and Richard had their first dance and it looked like they stepped into their own world. You couldn’t help but gush at how they look at each other with their loving eyes. We are so happy for your marriage Samantha and Richard!
