Joanne and Andrew’s wedding was so beautiful from start to finish. It began very traditionally with a Chinese tea ceremony in the morning at Joanne’s parent’s home. She wore a stunning sweetheart mermaid dress by Stella York in a beautiful moscato colour with ivory lace. Joanne’s bridesmaids all wore a different style that complemented their own personalities. On the other hand, Andrew’s groomsmen wore matching royal blue suits.
They chose to have their wedding at Fontana Primavera as Joanne had already attended a wedding there and loved the food! The venue specialized in making their own pasta which was perfect since it is Joanne’s favourite cuisine. The food is such a key part of any wedding. Your guests are going to have to love the food too!
Joanne and Andrew’s wedding ceremony was emotional and love-filled. It was so adorable to see Andrew wipe away Joanne’s tears during their ceremony. But their smiles that covered their faces told it all – they were just so happy to seal the deal and be married already!
From getting to know Joanne and Andrew, they are warm hearted people who are always having fun and laughing together. Joanne and Andrew’s wedding theme was a romantic southern garden with a blush and gold colour scheme. I really loved how they used pink and white flowers for their arch behind their sweet heart table during their dinner reception. In front of their table sat their wedding cake and a cupcake tower made out delicious flavours such as mango, passionfruit, peach and even mixed berry! On top, they had personalised wooden pegs as their cake toppers. One of Joanne’s friends had painted it for them. Their custom vinyl dance floor created by GTA Dance Floors looked so sleek. Each table number featured personalised pictures of Andrew and Joanne when they were the age of the table number. It was so cute!
But what I loved most of all is how they created a fun vibe – just like they are as a couple (though there were lots of tears of joy)! Joanne later changed into her Chinese dress and spoke in Hakka Chinese to her family. Andrew then surprised everyone by also addressing Joanne’s family in Hakka too! Many of their guests were so touched by his words and his effort to speak in her native tongue. At the end of the night the dance floor was crowded with all their friends and family dancing the night away with them!
Thank you Joanne and Andrew for having us capture your wedding day which was so much fun!
