It was my birthday last week and I forgot to post these photos! If you don’t already know, we are leaving for our wedding this weekend and I have been so busy with work! I photographed two weddings last weekend and have three engagement shoots in these last two weeks! Of course, there were a bunch of things to tie up with both our wedding and my clients so my birthday was a bit overlooked. We just wanted to spend time at home with some great food.
My dear husband was his thoughtful self and bought me some boots as it’s been five years since I’ve bought new ones! I honestly hate boot shopping because I have such wide feet and calves and I get so frustrated. Hahaha! Elliott made sure to get me tan riding boots with a gold buckle – I’ve been looking for a pair for so long! As well as I got two UGG boots (both of my current ones are worn to shreds!) and a pair of Cole Haan black riding boots, again with a gold buckle! Yes that’s right, I got four boots for my birthday. I don’t need to buy new boots for awhile now.. YES!!
Elliott and I love to eat seafood and he prepared a Chinese style fried crab, lobster tail and Chinese style steamed fish. I’ve been making sure to try to incorporate a salad everyday as well and I love colourful salads! It was great to have Elliott’s parents over for dinner as well since it was their birthdays the same week! Elliott also made sure not to forget that I MUST have a cake on my birthday. My favourite type of cake is white chocolate cheesecake and it’s exactly what I got! My husband is so thoughtful and really made my day! Thanks babe!!
I like having a Spring birthday since the best flowers are in bloom right now! Elliott’s parents brought over some bright red tulips. SO pretty! It made me change my bouquet choice at the last minute (my wedding coordinator in Bali must be seriously hating me right now due to the number of changes I’ve made last minute). I am SO SO SO indecisive and keep changing my mind on things! This wedding is seriously driving me nuts but it’ll be here before I know it! Stay tuned and I will post more wedding prep photos 🙂
