Teresa and Tim‘s magical wedding day was elegant, classic and undoubtedly beautiful. A long time ago, Teresa fell in love with Liberty Grand. It was completely fitting. She loved the big windows, the classical architecture, the high ceilings and the gorgeous chandeliers. It completely matched the English wedding theme that Teresa wanted. After attending her cousin’s wedding in England, she was inspired “Victorian” style but wanted her wedding to still have a modern touch. They had chosen dusty rose, ivory and gold accents for a romantic look.
The groomsmen wore English traditional morning coats which the boys totally rocked! I love how we got some fun photos out at Aga Khan Museum Park with these long coats. Even before Teresa and Tim booked us, they knew they wanted to have their wedding photos here because they both love architecture!
On the other hand, Teresa looked drop-dead gorgeous as a classic lace bride. Although her Pronovias lace bridal dress from Mona Richie was already so perfect with a clean and elegant look, she complemented with beaded straps for some extra detailing. Best of all, I love how she paired her bridal gown which such gorgeous gold Dolce & Gabbana lace heels.
Can you believe that Teresa designed her invitations herself? She knew she wanted the invitations to match her classical UK elegance theme so she made sure to have calligraphy on vellum. It was so pretty!
Teresa and Tim’s head table had a stunning cherry blossom arrangement hung above them as well as the addition of pretty chandeliers in the back. Teresa wanted the mix the old with the new and as such there were so many pretty florals and greenery with gold accents that decorated the room. Their reception had a mix of round and rectangular tables for the guests which framed the dance floor. Later in the evening, lion dancers from Wushu Project entertained the whole room and wished Teresa and Tim a happy marriage.
As pretty as this wedding was, it was full of so much heart! There were so many sweet moments but if I had to boil it down to my top three it had to be: 1) when Teresa’s dad so proudly gave his daughter away to Tim at the top of the aisle. His smile said it all! 2) when the bridal party welcomed the bride & groom onto the dance floor for their first dance with a confetti party and they had the most epic first dance 3) when Tim gave his thank you to speech to his wife. You could just tell that these two are so grateful for one another and that his wedding to celebrate their love meant so much to them.
Teresa and Tim have always been so kind as to thank us for photographing their love and their wedding day. But I want to make it clear here that we are so thankful to have found them! Seriously! These two are just the cutest couple. You can see it in their love and dedication to one another and just by being around them, you are reminded of what love is really about. A huge thank you, Teresa and Tim, for allowing us to capture this special day in your lives!
