Emily and Jay met 3 years ago at work. Unbeknownst to them, they shared side by side offices. One day, they both exited their offices at the same time. He turned right and she turned left, leading to a head-on collision. It sounds like one of those romantic comedy movie scenes because they ended up having their first date one week later and then the rest became history. Emily and Jay both support and encourage each other’s dreams which I think is so important in a relationship, especially since they love to dream about their future together.
In October of 2017, Emily and Jay went on their first international trip to Iceland. It was there where he got down on one knee at the foot of Dettifoss, one of the most powerful waterfalls in Europe. Exactly one year later in 2018, they were married! Emily gifted Jay a sword for their wedding which was engraved with their names and their wedding date. One of their favourite moments was cutting their wedding cake with the sword! But they really enjoyed the times they had alone together in private, away from all the wedding hype.
Recently, they adopted their dog, Roxie! Although Roxie is a pup, she is such a big playful dog! On their one year wedding anniversary, Emily and Jarret came down to Toronto to celebrate and have a good time together and brought Roxie along for the ride! It was the perfect time to capture their love again but now as a family together with Roxie. She made for some really cute photos on the sand and in the water at Scarborough Bluff‘s Beach. It was such a fun lifestyle dog photo session together where they could truly be themselves as their new happy family together!
