Emily and Nhan met at high school and have been together for over twelve years! I love how they incorporated their outgoing personalities into their incredibly fun wedding in Sunshine. Emily wore a beautiful white lace dress from Luv Bridal boutique and her bridesmaids wore a variety of shades in soft colours that really complemented her fun bridal look! Over 300 guests were invited to share this incredible Sheldon Reception wedding!
Emily and Nhan had traditional tea ceremonies held at both of their family homes on the North West end of Melbourne. Firecrackers were set off at Nhan’s home to start the festivities! The tea ceremonies were so incredibly meaningful to their families and I really love how every family member is able to take part to bless the couple with their well wishes!
Both Emily and Nhan’s civil ceremony and reception took place at Sheldon Reception & Convention Centre which made it really easy for their guests. Their civil ceremony was situated inside a gorgeous white tent-like hall which was enclosed by glass walls. It was so nice because it looked out into the beautiful gardens and it made it feel so serene! Emily walked down the aisle on her own but was absolutely gleaming. Their ceremony was kept short and sweet, but there was no shortage of smiles all around.
With over three hundred guests, you know that their wedding reception was going to be one big party! To start the night off, Lion Dancers came in to excite and entertain everyone! My favourite moment of the night was when Emily and Nhan had their bride and groom dance surrounded by beautiful fog and fireworks. It was spectacular – it felt like it was right out of a movie! Emily and Nhan have always said that they are not a lovey dovey couple but their wedding dance blew all our minds and felt like it should be a romantic movie in itself!
Right before the dance floor opened up, Brazillian dancers got party heated up and enticed people to get moving on the dance floor. It was the perfect way to entertain everyone and at the same time, get the dance floor warmed up for a long night of dancing!
Although it was a long day, it was an amazing one from start to finish. Emily, Nhan and all their family and friends surely knew how to celebrate their wedding and make it a memorable day for everyone! Congratulations Emily and Nhan for finally tying the knot after twelve years!
