Joelle and Ernest first met while at a common friend’s house practising music for leading Worship for a Sunday service. After two years of dating, Ernest proposed on a trip to Niagara. As they were atop the Ferris Wheel overlooking Niagara Falls popped the question. So romantic!
Joelle and Ernest are so relaxed and laid back. They so easily laugh and have a good time together. When I asked them what they wanted to remember through these photos, they told me that they “just want to remember the joy of this moment. Time passes by so fast. We want to look back and remember the process and how happy we were”. So cute!
We photographed their natural engagement session right after a big thunderstorm in downtown Toronto last week. We were so lucky to have the skies clear for the session but it ended up being super crazy windy! But with Joelle’s perfect hair, you would never have known! I honestly love capturing sessions by the water because it offers that very natural and relaxed feel. It really helped them get comfortable and cosy with each other.
So excited to photograph their lovely wedding later this year at Chateau Le Parc. I just know that it’s going to be as sweet, lovely and romantic as they are together.
