Stephen and Rescelle met through mutual friends. She was hanging out with one of her friends and they were trying to set her up with another one of their friends. But while they were hanging out together, they bumped into some of their friends, which included Stephen. Rescelle and Stephen were introduced and their friendship started to blossom. As time went on, their friendship just grew stronger and stronger and they just felt so right for each other. Rescelle calls it “destiny” and they’ve now been together for over seven years!
Rescelle and Stephen always want to be together which I think is so cute! After Rescelle graduated from her dental hygenist course, Stephen took her on a trip to Paris – a place where she really wanted to go before she started work. As they sat down in front of the Eiffel Tower, Stephen proposed at night amongst the sparkling lights of the tower.
Their wedding day incorporated their traditional Filipino coin, veil and rope wedding ceremonies and had a beautiful Catholic ceremony at St. Bonaventure’s Church in North York. But they also managed to keep their wedding modern and romantic with dusty rose pink and rose gold elements. I loved how cute their wedding reception at Claireport Place turned out with a little canopy and a black and white flower background behind them featuring their names. During their reception, they wowed their guests with two bride and groom dances at the end of the night.
Congratulations Rescelle and Stephen!
