Jocelyn and Jason’s Richmond Hill Country Club wedding started off at Jocelyn’s family home where she got ready for the day. Jocelyn’s bridesmaids who were dressed in various shades of pink helped her get into her Chinese wedding dress. Jason had given Jocelyn as cute wedding care package with a card that said, “You make me so happy”. So cute! You can tell that he is always thinking and looking out for her.
Jocelyn’s bridesmaids made the Jason and his groomsmen play door games in order to test his love before picking up his bride. Jocelyn then got into her beautiful Essense of Australia A-line wedding dress from Blu Ivory Bridal.
As we headed towards the venue for their first look and wedding pictures, it started to rain. So, unfortunately, we had to do all their wedding pictures close to the building. We arranged to have Jocelyn and Jason’s first look on the balcony, just outside their reception hall which overlooked the whole venue. I loved how sweet it was as Jason looked so happy to see Jocelyn that he whisked her into his arms!
Their ceremony was held indoors at the Richmond Hill Country Club and I love how they dressed it up to make it playful and fun. They had cute pink and gold balloons hanging out the front with their wedding signage and their altar was decorated with hand made pink heart garlands. As Jocelyn came down the aisle with her dad, the both of them were absolutely beaming. Jocelyn’s dad looked so proud to be by her side. You could read Jocelyn and Jason’s excitement as they approached each other all over their faces. Their wedding vows were so sweet and emotional and it touched so many of our hearts!
Their reception was just as sweet. With their head table decorated with pink and gold balloons in the background and a fun pink and gold wedding cake in the centre. There were so many fun moments during their dinner celebration. As Jocelyn and Jason met coincidentally one day through Dragon Boat racing at Toronto Islands, I love how they incorporated this into their wedding! At one point in the night, their whole bridal party got up to pretend they were dragon boat racing and then they went into a kiss.
Jocelyn and Jason could not be more perfect for each other! You can tell this in the way that they look at each other as well as have so much fun together. But as well as when you peel back away their playful side, you can undoubtedly see how much they care and love each other.
