Tiffany and Edward wanted their wedding to be a fun and great way to celebrate their relationship with their friends and family. They chose Spencer’s at the Waterfront as it reminded Tiffany of the “floating churches” in Bali – a dream located that she had wanted to visit as a child. The ceremony and reception space is filled with so many glass windows which allowed for some beautiful natural light to enter in, giving it such a natural feel. It was so nice to be able to see Lake Ontario from inside.
Tiffany and Edward chose pink and grey for their wedding colour scheme and kept traditional elements such as having the Chinese door games and Chinese tea ceremony for both of their families. Their wedding ceremony also included a sermon, prayer and worship. It was also so nice to have Tiffany’s brother to play during their ceremony.
Tiffany and Edward actually did all their flowers and decor themselves. During set up, their bridal party all took part in helping them put everything in its place – along with their DIY donut wall, card box, table numbers, favours and even their cake topper. Edward actually spent a lot of time himself designing their wedding stationery as he is a designer himself! He worked the theme around the logo “EAT” which is a combination fo their names and their favourite hobby.
I knew that from Tiffany and Edward’s engagement session that they loved romantic photographs as well as scenic captures that they can put on their wall. We were lucky to have the beautiful lakefront in Burlington and the modern building of Spencer’s to serve as a gorgeous backdrop for their wedding photos. Such a beautiful day!
Congratulations Tiffany and Edward on this magical day!
