There are some incredible wedding planners in the industry but Sally & Candy from Behind the ‘I Do’ are seriously creme de la creme. They stick to a vision, are organized to the T, leave no stone unturned and are just always a joy to work with. Their hard work in creating this shoot inspired by the ‘It’ girls on Instagram totally paid off in that it was featured to both Inspired Bride and The Wedding Co! I previously shared the features, but am now finally sharing more photos from this lovely wedding photo shoot!
Sally & Candy called this shoot the Modern Day Factory Girl involving sleek and clean elements that were also both fresh and modern. I love the gold metallic terrariums and the unique yet simplistic jewellery from Theresa Duong Arts. We had set up a long wedding tablescape in the middle of Miku Toronto, a Japanese restaurant in downtown Toronto. It was perfect for the shoot with their modern decor.
We used a stunningly stylish dress from Sash and Bustle that although can be considered simple, was incredibly dramatic. Two florists were used – Stok Floral for the gorgeous fresh greenery centrepieces that lined the table and the The Lily Guild for a different kind of take on a bridal bouquet. The bridal bouquet was made entirely from paper tissues but it looked so real and makes such pretty eco-friendly option! But let’s not forget the beautiful use of vellum for the table numbers, the seating charts and even the wedding invitation suite! Paula Lee Calligraphy created a romantic array of paper goods to complement the look.
Of course, there’s Amy at Bridal Hair Collective and Alexandra at Mobile Makeovers who made Anastasia look so elegant! Daniela at Sweet Regards Cakes created a lovely four-tiered cake and complementary tall yoyos. Perfection!
