Sarah and Hugh’s vision for their wedding day was to have an epic party. It turned out it was that and so much more. From Sarah’s gorgeous blush pink wedding dress from Ferre Sposa to the gorgeous purple and silver modern contemporary look of their wedding reception at the The Grand Luxe, it was simply beautiful. We started their wedding day at the Westin Prince Hotel in North York, Toronto where they both got ready and had their first look! Before their ceremony, we headed over to Bob Rumball Manor for some gorgeous wedding photos.
From their engagement session in downtown Toronto, I knew their wedding was going to be fun as Sarah and Hugh are the complete opposite of serious kind of people. They’re always poking fun at each other (and their friends) and I enjoy all their fun banter. It’s hard not to be drawn to their playful nature. But once you peel back the layers of their fun side, you know there’s deep love underneath.
One of my favourite moments from the wedding day was that Hugh completely memorised his own vows to Sarah. Each word was so beautifully thought out. It was most sweetest thing as he said it was such conviction and pure love. Then when it was Sarah’s turn to read out her vows, she just said “what he said” which made everyone laugh. Even in their ceremony, they are always making people laugh which makes the two of them together such lovable people. You could feel this same love when it came to their first dance, when Hugh lip-synced to their song with such passion.
Their wedding was undeniably beautiful and just so much fun. People had come all over to celebrate this official union. Everyone partied up on the dance floor and there were drinks all around. All their family and friends could not be more happy to be part of this totally epic wedding party of the two most totally epically fun loving people.
