Shortly after university, Sheryl and Alex were set-up through mutual friends. Their first date was a double date and Alex took it from there to set up the second, third, fourth date and soon enough Alex officially asked Sheryl to be his girlfriend. It was so much of a success that the couple who set them up are now going to be their matron of honour and best man!
Sheryl and Alex get along so well but Sheryl really loves how kind and generous he is to others. They always have a great time together but they love to enjoy nights with some dinner and Netflix. They have been together for seven years now and it was on their sixth year anniversary that Alex popped the big question. They were going to go out for dinner and Alex’s mom had set up her backyard with champagne, flowers, chocolate-covered strawberries and a romantic fire. At first, Sheryl thought it was just an anniversary surprise until Alex reached for a small blue Tiffany & Co. box and got down on one knee. It was actually that very spot that Alex had asked Sheryl to be his girlfriend and now his wife! So special!
Sheryl and Alex will be getting married on their eighth year anniversary next year – so special! For their dreamy beach engagement session, we headed over to the Toronto Beaches for a dreamy summer session on the beach! Love love love summer beach sessions especially when we’re lucky to have these incredible colourful sunsets. It is so so magical! I love pink skies! I dare you to tell me that this session was not incredibly romantic.
So looking forward to your wedding next year Sheryl and Alex!
