It’s hard to deny, but when us girls were back in school we were attracted to that boy. Yes, that boy who turned up late for class or would barely show up. There’s just something so attractive about the boy who didn’t follow the crowd or the rules. And that’s exactly how Colin got Ashley’s attention drawing her to go to the bar under-aged to see him every Friday night.
When they get married this May, they’ll have been together for eight years! Eight! I always admire couples who can endure a long lasting relationship through college years and into world of adulthood. Ashley & Colin have not only done just that, but have surely proved that the seven year itch is just a myth!
Ashley & Colin have been engaged for over a year now, after Colin took Ashley got down on one knee 351 metres above Toronto at the 360 Restaurant in CN Tower. Ashley and Colin are both outgoing and love to snowboard together so it only made sense to embrace the cold winter season and shoot their engagement in the snow! Ashley & Colin are so sweet, laidback and carefree and so I took them to Riverdale Farms and Cherry Beach to capture their love. It was so beautiful to see the entire Lake Ontario frozen up right to the Toronto Islands. If I didn’t tell you, you probably wouldn’t have been able to tell that we were still right in Downtown Toronto!
It was so cute to witness Ashley & Colin interact with each other! Colin knew how to make Ashley laugh in an instant. When I first met Ashley & Colin, I could instantly tell how Colin’s wit & humour and Ashley’s fun & patient nature made them perfect for each other! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in May! Stay tuned 🙂
