Ellery and Michael met over 10 years ago through mutual friends. On a trip to Hawaii, Michael surprised Ellery with a proposal on the beach. This year will be their seventh year anniversary! Over the years, they’ve come to realise how perfect they are together – knowing how to make each other laugh and just knowing each other inside and out. Ellery says how she loves how Michael accepts her for who she is and makes her feel beautiful no matter what. He also always includes her in every plan he makes for the future. Aww! Just what every girl needs.
For their wedding day, they kept it cute and fun just like they are as a couple. Using classic pinks, light yellows and whites, they had an elegant wedding feel. Ellery’s dress from Superior Bridal fit her so perfectly! She complemented her dress with a bouquet full of pretty white orchids and light yellow roses.
On the morning of her wedding day, Ellery received a personalised silver jewellery box from Michael with “Elle” engraved on top. Inside were some gorgeous diamond earrings. Michael received custom diamond Raptors cufflinks to go with his wedding attire! But it was so cute how much he was moved to tears when he read her card that she wrote for him.
Their wedding ceremony was held at the Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Scarborough which included the traditional Filipino coin, veil and cord ceremonies which is symbolic in supporting their future together as one. Michael’s reaction seeing Ellery for the first time coming down the aisle was so cute as he tried to hold in his tears. But I really love his reaction just after they signed their marriage certificates. The both of them looked so so happy!
Right after the ceremony, we headed over to Richmond Green for some wedding pictures. I love coming here because it’s such a big park and there are so many places to photograph in!
Ellery and Michael’s wedding reception was held at the Terrace Banquet Centre in Vaughan. It was so beautifully decorated with lots of gold. Their custom wedding cake from Rococoa Boutique was so unique! On one side it was made to fit their white & light yellow elegant wedding theme with their initial monogram on the front. Then on the other side they had Mario, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers on different tiers! So so cool!
Their reception turned into a huge dance party! But before the night was over, we ran out to the cute little gazebo out the front for some fun wedding sparkler photos. One of my favourite things to photograph is wedding sparkler photos because everyone just has so much fun with it!
